Selena’s Viral Señora Era Mexican Blanket/Falsa Blanket/Cobija
Santa Selena is at it again, wowing the internet with glowing skin, gorgeous brows, curled up in a Mexican blanket/Cobija/serape, living her best life. And Twitter is eating it up, with memes comparing her to a señora living her best life, a lady unbothered and moisturized, or to someone who’s starring in Big Little Lies.

Selena’s Mexican blanket is exactly what you’ll need to create a cozy fall mood. We did some digging and it turns out that Selena’s blanket is this Cabo Mexican Blanket from a company called Laguna Beach Co but actually made in Mexico
But if you want to go all in and fully authentic, check out Serapes or Saltillo blankets, which originated in Aztec culture.
For the original, you can always check out a mom and pop shop near where you live (check the swap meet too), but other alternatives include this Mexican Blanket created by Latina owned brand Con Alma, owned by Jennifer Fields (a brand also rooted in Latina slow living woop woop!), this Zulay Mexican blanket from Zulay Home Authentic kitchen (owned by Aaron Cordovez), and this blanket by a brand owned by third generation Zapotec weavers, the Gutierrez family.
While you’re at it grab these coasters by Latina owned Cadena Collective, whose viral products we can’t get enough of!
