The Starbucks Bearista is back, and this time it’s a mystery. The new Glass Bearista Cold Cup Surprise Box Edition drops at U.S. Starbucks coffeehouses on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, and each sealed box hides one of several new bear characters. You won’t know which bear you got until you open it.
If last year is any clue, these will go fast. The original glass Bearista sold for $29.95 in 2025 and turned up on resale sites for roughly $150 to $400. Here’s everything we know, how to actually get one, and the Amazon bear cups to buy if you strike out.

- Nov. 10: Bearista Surprise Box drops in limited quantities, while supplies last.

- Dec. 1: The original glass Bearista returns to select coffeehouses.
How Much Is the Bearista Surprise Box?
Starbucks hasn’t announced the price or how many bear characters are in the lineup yet. We’ll update this post as soon as they do. For reference, last year’s original glass Bearista was $29.95.
How to Get a Bearista Surprise Box
- Go early on November 10. Limited drops like this often sell out within hours.
- Call your store the day before. Ask whether they’re getting the Surprise Box and when they’ll put it out. Not every store gets the same amount.
- Check licensed stores. Starbucks inside Target, grocery stores and airports may carry different merch than standalone coffeehouses.
- Skip first-week resale. Prices on resale sites are usually highest in the first few days and cool off later.
Can You Choose Which Bear You Get?
No. It’s a blind box, so the character is a surprise until you open it. That’s part of the fun, and why people are already planning to trade with friends.
