Halle Berry just turned 60, and the internet responded the way it always does: by searching. People aren’t just curious — they’re trying to figure out what she’s doing.
According to beauty expert Danielle Louise of Fresha, the booking platform used by beauty and wellness professionals worldwide, the real story isn’t Halle Berry’s routine. It’s what the interest in her routine says about how señoras are thinking about beauty now.
“For years, the conversation centred around looking younger,” Danielle explains. “Today’s consumers are far more interested in looking healthy, confident and like the best version of themselves at every age.”
That’s the señora era today!

Healthy is replacing “anti-aging”
Nobody who’s spent time in a skincare aisle needs to be told that “anti-aging” has been the load-bearing phrase of the entire industry for decades. Danielle says that’s changing, fast.
“The biggest change we’ve seen is that people are moving away from the idea of ‘anti-aging’ altogether,” she says. “Healthy, glowing skin has become the goal. That means protecting the skin you have through consistent skincare, professional treatments where appropriate and daily sun protection, rather than constantly looking for quick fixes.”
Notice what’s missing from that list: nothing about reversing, erasing, or turning back a clock. It’s about protecting what you have — which is a much more honest goal, and a far more achievable one.
Healthy hair is the new headline, not a dramatic transformation
The same shift is happening with hair. Señoras searching for “Halle Berry hair” aren’t looking for instructions on how to chop it all off or go platinum overnight — they’re asking how her hair looks that healthy.
“Clients are asking much more about hair glosses, scalp treatments, bond repair and maintaining shine than they are about completely changing their look,” Danielle says. “Healthy hair is becoming one of the biggest indicators of overall beauty. People recognise that well-maintained hair instantly makes someone appear fresher and more polished.”
Consistency beats complexity — every time
Here’s the part that should be a relief, not a disappointment: there’s no secret 12-step Hollywood routine behind any of this.
“The reality is that consistency almost always beats complexity,” Danielle says. “A straightforward skincare routine, regular professional maintenance, protecting your skin from UV damage, eating well and looking after your hair over time will usually produce better results than constantly buying the latest viral product.”
The real headline isn’t her age. It’s the question people are asking.
Danielle put it best: “Women are no longer looking at celebrities and asking how old they are. They’re asking why they look so healthy, confident and comfortable in their own skin. That’s a far more positive conversation, and it’s changing how people approach beauty at every stage of life.”
That’s not a beauty trend. That’s a mindset shift — and it’s exactly the one señoras have been living for a while now, whether the beauty industry caught up or not.
