Summer is around the corner, the sun is out, it’s getting safer to go out and about. This naturally makes us start to think about our physical fitness, and feeling and looking good for those poolside and playa summers. I personally revamp my workout outfits to feel more motivated to get more active – that might be doing more yoga or taking a virtual dance class. Having an outstanding pair of leggings goes a long way to getting me outside.

This year we found excellent workout brands created by entrepreneurial Latinas. Here are three for you to check out and buy more!

Booté

It’s so hard to find a good legging that fits well, and we have all had issues with leggings that ride up your tummy and make you feel uncomfortable (currently typing this with a tummy-rider myself). But when you do find your dream workout pants, they are so comfy that you want to live in them for the rest of your life. Your favorite new leggings this summer will be BOOTE, a fitness brand created by Juliana Iglesias, a Los Angeles-based fitness instructor, who even went to Colombia to develop her brand. Diosa Fit Official

Diosa is a Latina owned fitness apparel brand, inspired by all the women working on bettering themselves daily. The line was created in 2020 by Diane Olvera, an LA-based fitness professional who didn’t feel seen in the fitness world. So she created her own products.
