Here at Señora Era, we know that home is a place of comfort and safety. Sometimes, though, unexpected things come up that need care and attention. This latest product recall might affect some of us, and we wanted to share the important details so you can feel confident in keeping your household protected.
What Was Recalled
The Little Cow Company has issued a recall of their 9 oz candles in glass jars with screw-top lids. These candles feature a sticker on the front displaying the brand name “Little Cow Co.” and the text “100% natural soy wax candle, laced with organic butter.” They were sold at New Seasons Market and Town and Country stores across the country from December 2025 through January 2026 for about $25.
Why This Matters
During use, the glass jar holding the candle can crack or break, posing fire, burn, and laceration hazards. While no injuries have been reported, the company has received two reports of broken glass jars. This kind of risk is something worth addressing to ensure your family’s safety at home.
What You Should Do
If you have one of these candles, stop using it right away. To request a full refund, Little Cow Company asks you to take the following steps:
- Use a permanent marker to draw an “X” on the glass jar.
- Cut the candle wicks so the product can no longer be used.
- Email a photo of the marked jar and cut wicks to the Little Cow Company.
You can then contact the company for further refund instructions, ensuring you haven’t lost out on your purchase.
We share news like this with you because we care about keeping your home safe and peaceful. It’s always better to be informed, especially since candles are such a cozy part of our spaces. Rest assured that companies like Little Cow Company handle these situations thoughtfully. If you have any questions or concerns, information directly from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission can be helpful.
