Designer Jamie Lim grew up in South East Asia, surrounded by the batik kaftans worn by her mother, and handmade rattan dining chairs. As she witnessed these artisanal goods be replaced by mass produced synthetics, Jamie created Kayu as a means to offer timeless personal and home accessories, made with the finest natural materials, and preserve indigenous craft. The Milos Vegetable Tanned Leather Sandal are crafted in top grain, chemical free, vegetable tanned leather. Each pair is meticulously handcrafted by a family owned workshop in Greece, giving this sandal its name, and its simple elegance.
